Best place to book GP and what rate ?

ive only used Alpha room once and it was cheaper than anywhere and honestly as smooth check in as any other travel agency. BUT then again, i was at the resort AFTER i booked it (it was booked for 2nd upcoming trip) and had PERSONALLY double checked my reservation while i was there.

 

Does it seem to makes sense that the actual hotel website is the cheapest? Most of the big name travel sites are $200+ more. Some of the discount sites are $200 less, but have stiff cancellation penalties. If I book directly through GP, I don't have any cancellation penalties other than the 48 hour. All others want to charge cancellation vouchers.

Sure seems like booking directly through GP is the best option. It would be nice to find some discount codes before I pull the trigger. I am still looking at $1600 for just the hotel.
