We've been to TTR and Nice Shoes had its moments, but it usually wasn't busy very long, nor packed. We're looking at Desire Pearl, and a ton of posts say that the disco is only busy from like 10:30 to 11:30 or so most nights. I haven't found many posts about Desire RM's disco. Anyone have recommendations for the best dancing/disco experience at these three? Or, I suppose clubs in Cancun Strip that won't be jammed with 21 year olds?
We have been to Desire RM many times and love the disco there. Many people go and I would say it is busy a lot longer than 10:30-11:30. They have been having the evening show in there when it opens between 10:30-11 then they have a DJ and dancing. We have shut the disco down at times, but love to stay and dance for a few hours. Some nights it is busier than others, but there usually is a pretty good group, at least when we have been there. We have not been to Pearl or TTR but are planning our first trip to TTR in April. Sounds like Patty-o is where everyone hangs out at night.
sometimes they keep the music on in nice shoes after the show is over but no one stays, either too cold, too hot, or it smells. Too bad its a nice little size, and sometimes Patios is overflowing , ever since they stopped pushing/recruiting the guests out to the clubs.
When was that? Our last trip was 2011 and for a dance area with more than 15 people dancing, we had to leave the resort. edit: Except for after the lingerie party.
I haven't been to Pearl, but Desire RM has an awesome disco!! And unlike Paty O's it has air conditioning That being said, I'll be dancing till the wee hours at Paty O's in April...just won't look (or smell) as good when I get done :icon_sad: Each place has their pros and cons. For us the disco at RM was a definite pro, but the price is a definite con...I'll deal with the sweat in order to afford more trips :xyxthumbs:
So did they stop pushing the outside clubs or stop offering the trips all together? Some of the most fun times we had was on trips with other guests hosted by Jose or Sergei.
We were thinking Darcy could get to wear the outfits she never thought she could at the Desire Disco which is a major plus for going there. What's the current dress code limits at Paty'O? What part of April for you guys. That's the month we're looking at.
