We’ll be spending a few days at Desire RM at the end of March and return to the US on April 1st. For our return, we’ll need to show proof of a negative COVID test from within 72 hours of arrival. Since I had COVID last year it has to be a PCR (“nose swab”) test because the antigen test would be positive. Does anyone have a recommendation where to get a PCR test during our Desire RM stay?
I’ll reply to my own question ;-) Apparently, the resort organizes PCR (“nose swab”) tests at the resort. When you arrive they schedule it according to your departure date and they get “same day” results. Also, if “nose swab” is not an option for health reasons you can request a saliva test at schedule time, I was told. (Also, Mexico doesn’t require a test for entering the country; only the filling of an online form, IIUC.)
