Hi both! : We are making our 3rd trip this year, usually go in June, this year switched to end of october through to first week of November. First year we used Thomas Cook for flights, price was around £620 pp as when you book they don't initially charge u for meals and luggage, they also charge a departure tax at Cancun Airport so overall found them not only to be useless (due to 24 hour delay, outdated plane and unbeleivable prices for dinrks and snacks on board!) Hotel and Transfers booked first year through Travelbag, who were most competative at the time. Very good service, when our flight was delayed they sorted a later trf and let the hotel know etc. Last year then we flew with Virgin after our awful experience the previous year with TC. Virgin were 200% better, flights were on time, excellent plane in good nick. Drinks didnt stop flowing all the way through the flight and they had premium alcohol (like Jack Daniels/Smirnoff etc) and unlimited snacks. The entertainment system on Virgin is also second to none, the vera system holds over 100 movies, and tv programmes, thousands of music albums too, it's hard to get bored when you have SO MUCH to keep you entertained, and most importantly the staff were very helpful and friendly. Food is great too, they actually give you a menu in Economy?! The rooms we booked through Alpharooms, again, couldnt complain - they were great and most competative on price. This year we're flying Virgin again, we got flights for £537 pp, and booked 12 nights through Travelbag again costing us £1059 (2 ppl) pretty good really! Overall i think you really have to shop around for the best deal! Hope this information helps though!
hi trav1. that was a good deal we paid 2550 with kenwood traval for both of us that's flying with virgin as well for 14 nights. this is our second trip cant wait had such a great time last year

Try Thomas Cook, they do Manchester or Gatwick. Caribbean Warehouse do discounted offers on Thom.Cook, check their website for prices. This May we've booked through TravelBag, good price with B.A. scheduled flights (price didn't include transport to hotel but was a better price than anyone else for our trip). Who ever you book through, always check that the price includes Cancun airport tax (it's about £40 per person if they don't). Hope this helps.....
Hiya peeps, well all sorted now and got it all for 14 nights for under 2,400 inc tax on leaving, although virgin yet again were not as good as others have claimed .... Twice now to different locations and wouldn't call them in the top 5. So happy days roll on 2nd November for 2nd visit and fun in the sun again
