Amen, brother! I couldn't agree more. We are relative newbs but we knew what we were getting into and couldn't wait to have fun being as naked and naughty, and having as much fun, as possible doing it.
We just got back from our trip yesterday...HAD A GREAT FIRST TIME. The Good: Cleanliness: TTR may be an older property but I was impressed with the cleanliness of the resort. If you really look hard there are some older furnishings etc, but the staff work hard keeping everything clean (although they could not control the mind). The bartenders: These guys work there asses off and always have a smile on their face. These guys would recognize you and your drink if you take care of them. Jack at Pattyo was awesome. A hundred dollar tip at the beginning of the week went a long way when the crowd was deep around the bar. Boobs Cruise: Awesome time! We managed to pull two off...one on the 2/14 and 2/18. The 14th had better weather so Chinos didn't have to work quite as hard to get the crowd going. 18th was windy as hell and choppy seas and many people were just holding on till we got to the island. Still had a great time, just not as wild of a time. Steve has one hell of an operation and everybody is taken care of. (in one way or another) People: Was great being a small part of the SHITSHOW. The people at TTR are the best part of the experience. We met a ton of people and made friends with people that will stay connected with and hopefully visit again with at TTR. The Bad: Room location: Our room was right up the stairs from PattyO. This was only a problem the first night when we both gave up about 9PM. 5 or 6 hours of blaring music is too much. But we figured we would be in the middle of the party the remainder of the time and so the location turned out to be very accommodating. Bought ear plugs just in case, but never needed them. Lack of sleep: Enough said. Leaving: Damn it was hard stepping back into reality. Toast: BEER AND TITTIES (with a South Alabama accent)
Glad you're now hooked, like the rest of us crazies! Pro Tip : Next trip, don't be afraid to request a room away from Paty'O's...they're happy to accommodate if at all possible.
