    Hey everyone,

getting ready to book our first spring break trip to Cancun this year. we pretty much have all the logistics decided on. We want to be near the biggest party, fun crowds, and of coarse most women ;)

    March 8-15 - Oasis Cancun

Was looking for some info on the best way to book the trip. More specifically what are the benefits of using a spring break company (student city?) over a online website similar to expedia or even a travel agent?

we DO need to know exactly when we are leaving and flight times so that is one plus to using the expedia site. Also, it is about 100$ cheaper.

I guess the main thing i'm asking is As long as you are staying on the Oasis property do you have the same access to the parties/activities as everyone else, no matter who you booked through?

    Thanks!

STS would be the company to go with if you decide to do so. Check out CancunCare's Spring Break Page: http://www.cancuncare.com/Spring_Break_Cancun/

Company's offer early booking bonuses such as extra meals or free drinks. It is also wise to book with a company if you have a large group going cause they usually offer group incentives. The company's also offer party packages that you can purchase. I believe you can purchase these even if you don't book with the company though.

As far as the oasis is concerned; yes you have access to the same facilities as everyone else. Be warned that you only have access to all the restaurants at the oasis if you book the grand oasis. I've noticed that the spring break companies place a lot of their clients in Phase 1 which is the wildest building at the oasis.

I'm not really sure there are any.

Student City is are an online website in just the way that Expedia is or any other online travel place except they cater to a specialised market and rely on branding. You can buy extras such as party passes or meal packages etc with them but you can buy those anyway once you are there.

As Putangie suggested please check out the prices via STS posted in the link above, but also check around many other places too.

Thanks guys. I'll definitely consider STS. It doesn't matter where i book, i just want to be sure to get the right package and not be shut out of anything that i may want to do.

so basically if you do NOT choose to book with a Spring break company, your NOT losing out on any party packages, special access, or other amenities that you couldn't purchase once you arrived? I'm assuming from some place such as your hotel desk?
