Damn. I'll have a good time regardless, but that had to be extremely disappointing way to start a vacation.
Bumped Today Had Friends get there today and got bumped to the Great For 7 Days. This is not right!! It was With Expedia.. Were going with three couples in 14 days.
omg I'd be effin pissed if I was bumped! - thankfully it's never happened to me (in 18 trips to Mexico, 17 to all-inclusive resorts..twice to both GP and TTR-Cancun, once to TTR-Los Cabos).
we are going may 5 and i am meeting my best friend who is from another state and coming in 4 hrs later then us. I am hoping we don't get bumped. We have had this booked since last june with continental vacations and thru a travel agent. I just don't want to get there and then miss our time together and our daughter will be there 3 days before us. Any advise on how to not get bumped. Would it help to contact my travel agent to contact them.
I think most of the bumping goes on March and April. We went the first week of May last year and they were only at about 60% capacity so it was no problem. We arrive May 5th as well. For piece of mind you should probably talk to your travel agent about it.
on packages from apple funjet mlt, ii does not cost more to use a travel agent. allow them to make a few bucks and be there for support if needed. they better not try to move us.
We just got back tonight and did not get bumped but we talked to a lot of people who did get bumped. We went thru Apple.
