    After two or three beer it is really surprising how far off of your regular beer you can and not know the difference. Try a blind test and you will be amazed.

    The Dos Equis from the bar tastes different than the Dos Equis you get in the room in a can. After day 3 I couldn't take drinking the bar beer anymore and resorted to taking shots of rot gut tequila. Same ending

    We did eat at Bubba Gumps restaurant downtown and I ordered a Corona. It is definitely not the same as the Corona in the states. It tastes far less lemony to me.

    But once I got back to civilization and had a Yeungling, all was well in the world again

    I think mostly that's because they don't wash the glasses that well and the lines going to the taps probably aren't maintained incredibly well. Mind you I'm picky on the XX. I generally prefer my Mexican beer out of a bottle. The XX tastes a lot better that way.

    I guess I don't live up to my name down there anymore since I become a dark bacardi guy now lol
