Temperature has almost NOTHING to do with the way beer tastes and keeps AS LONG its not back and forth from one extreme to the other for an extended period of time.
The darker the bottle, the more it protects it from sunlight. Clear bottles such as Corona have a skunkier taste because of this.
That's kinda the point... brewed in cold... stored in heat. Then shipped back to cold fridges. To each their own, I still drink the odd corona, just saying.
If you goes to Wallmart or any convenience store ask for Montejo Beer, I think it have a better taste than Corona or Dos Equis (XX), I don´t know why here in Mexico a big number of resorts only have Corona and XX. There are better beers here, when you come to Mexico give a try to the other brands. By the way, Montejo beer was originally from Merida Yucatan Cheers
I hear you on that. It's like molson Canadian or labatt blue in Canada... Were known for it even if we have hundreds of beers that taste a lot better. Buddy of mine from Australia says the same about fosters... They consider it poss down under lol.
that's good to know. I posted somewhere that I like picking up beers on the way in. I picked up some Sol that came pre-salted...blood pressure went up 20 points before getting to the resort. Quales mas son buenas?
