beer at golden parnasus

I have heard that you can pick yourself up some top shelf in town and the bartenders will hold it behind the bar for you to mix with. Not sure how true, but you can get almost anything done for you if you don't mind tipping. My wife loves Crown so I will have to get some for her after I get there, and I'm a big red bull and vodka guy so I will be heading into town to stock up. Red Bull at resorts are usually $4 or more per can although you can easily get 3 drinks out of one can still it adds up day after day. You can pick them up in town for less than $2 per can.

 

They have XX, light and dark. We were there the first of the month.

 

Dos XX only at the bars...just returned, if you MUST have a bud..they sale them in the gift shop for $3

 

I heard from TA forums that they have Corona on tap ... true/not true??

Dos XX is the only on tap beer. They used to have Corona on tap, but changed back to Dos XX anout 2 years ago. There is a small shop across the street from the hotel that sells all kinds of beer, you can buy it there and the bartenders will keep it cold for you

well, that defeats the whole purpose of buying all-inclusive if you have to go out and buy your own drinks!! LOL ..... hubby will just have to deal with what they have, or drink the mixed drinks like me!
