LOVED IT! Great commentary! Huggiebear... lol.. sorry.. that's all I could think of whenever I saw you. I have a pic of you picking me up at the sexy pool. If you have facebook or somewhere I can send it private.. I will. Just let me know.
Yes, the Cougar Den existed, but hardly needed a sign, as we had one of the most remote rooms in the resort, up on the third floor with only 3 other rooms up there. No one was ever going to find the sign, or the cougars, by simply wandering by. Carol moved the sign one night while I was at Paty-O's, down one floor to Vince and Wendy's room, which was directly below us. Me being tired, drunk and dimwitted, made a beeline for the sign instead of counting how many flights of stairs I'd walked up, or looking at the room number. Tried my key several times before hiking back to the front desk, muttering and cursing the whole way, to get my key re-set. Then back to the same stupid room and tried my key again! Slow learner. Tried the key several times before finally looking up at the room number and then creeping, with my cougar tail between my legs, up the last flight of stairs to my room. :brick: Some of you will have read on the April Roll Call that I had my 8-yr-old son help me make the sign because I was running out of time to get everything done before the trip, and that I had to spin a big story about how everyone was going to be divided into teams to play different sports, and Mom's team was the Cougars. The funny ending to that story is that the very first thing my son said to me when I got home after the trip was "did your team win, Mom?" :icon_mrgreen: It was wonderful to see you again, Nathan. xo
Great meeting up with you again Nate.....I loved hanging out with you and of course getting the bear hugs. We hope we see you in Dec. Cheers
Great trip report Nate, great seeing you and hanging out again. See you in December? :clappyinghappy:
