I live close to the Irish Sea, and have some very lovely beaches right on my doorstep, but ironically no pictures! So my contributions are Playa Norte - Isla Mujeres: and Lake Windermere (I know not technically a beach) in the Lake District (UK):
Not sure of the beach name but think it was a public beach (weird most of the cleanest water was not in front of the hotels, lots of seaweed). Actually think both pics are different views of same stretch of beach.. I posted in other thread about if safe to walk around in Cancun - I noted that once you walk too far down 7 mile beach it gets rough, out of nowhere you are in the wrong neighborhood.
'my favorite area actually.. To many it may seem shady, but I walk up and down the beach and cliffs alone or with my son, and haven't had an issue.. Like any where you just have to keep your wits about you..That area up by the roundabout can be kinda cool to hang out.. Watch the domino games, grab some pattys, wait for Gem to walk by (the fruuuiiitt lady).
Costa Rica is deff worth going too airfair is high but everything else thier isn't bad and the beaches and zip lineing are worth it and alot of locals do speak english. i would love too go back.
Sunset Beach Treasure Island, FL Close enough to escape for the day.... but far enough to feel like you're getting away!
