Collegeguy, I guess putangie63 mentioned some rocky spots but it is a large stretch of beach afterall, I am sure there are some good spots left. For me, it's just a shame that Cancun invested mucho dinero to repair the beaches, and they're suffering from erosion again so soon. 212eric
some pretty narrow bits almost upto if not the walls around the city beach club and along the stretch still gorgeous down there though
The beaches at the oasis/omni were a bit rocky in some areas, but that wasn't really a problem for me. It's sort of a multilevel beach area where the chairs and such are on one level and you have to make a step down to get closer to the water. The beach was also not very big. By the looks of it the beaches towards the top of seven were in better shape. Collegeguy probably spent most of his time on the beach near the american eagle/mtv areas which were further north and might have been better, but i didnt really go over there much. Seems the beaches north of the oasis were better than the ones to the south.
putangie63, I think you are on to something... When I stayed at the NH Krystal last May, the beach was quite flat and extra wide. It was almost as if the people fixing the beaches felt sorry for that area because their beaches were in poor condition for many years and they were trying to make up for it. 212eric
