I have done that route a few times myself Val when I stayed at the Oasis Playa. Also did the run from the Oasis Playa/Solymar area down to the convention center and back. That one was much easier at night with periods of walking. Its amazing how much stuff you notice on foot that you never give a second look to while on the bus. Saw a croc in the lagoon too while on foot!
