If you like nice beaches. I heard Playa del Carmen is the beach to visit. It's an hour bus ride. So if you meet a few friends that has the common interest as the 2 of you. You can always make a trip there. I heard it's beautiful there. I will try to make a trip there on my next visit. I hope the both of you enjoy your upcoming trip :)

We have been to TTR - this will be our 11th trip and we have never sat around the quiet pool we are always at the sexy pool. The only time we go to the quiet pool is we go to see Lulu for shots... and dinner at the Itailan... We have friend that come in May with us and they are from England.... so just join the group and have a blast!

    Quiet area question

Im sure the wife and i will end up at the other pools etc.... But we were wondering about the noise from the clubs at night?
Thats cool that it goes all night...But i think we will be ready for bed around 2 or 3 am on most nights.
What type of room /location should we request if we want to get solid sleep at night?

Music at Paty'o's ends at 2:00am but there can be people there until much later. In April we had a room overlooking Paty'o's, didn't bother us as we brought ear plugs. I highly recommend them as the air conditioners are loud anyway.

You're not there to sleep really anyway, book some days off when you get home to catch up :)

Anything thats AWAY from the Paty O ! should be pretty quiet... theres actually one room on the second floor near the Quiet pool area that can get pretty rowdy because it has a really big balcony n some guests like to have little parties there.. depends on the group that goes.. but for the most part.. if u want a quiet room stay AWAY from anything near Paty'O's lol unless u plan to not sleep at all lol lol
