I have my personal training studio right in my home. He doesn't even care to walk on the treadmill, ride a bike, or lift any weights. I would train him if he showed even the slightest interest. None there he has only come down three times and worked out with me. I train my son once in a while and my daughter wants to try it too. Glenn has had bad shoulders and back for years but, would rather get pills from the doctor or go to physiotherapy than fix the posture issue causing the problems. Time is a big issue for him too, he's totally a workaholic. Minimum 12 hour days. He would much rather do another form of exercise.
I have been going to WW since June 6th. I have lost 56 pounds to date! I'd like to take off another 10 to 12 lbs before we go to BBG in March. Your leader is right Tammy, slow & steady wins the race. I can't wait to change my avatar picture with a slimmer photo of me (Ryan too) at BBG.
I put on about 20 pounds from my visit to BBG last February. A lot of people know about it, but in short, I came home with a nasty infection in my foot and it wasn't until over two months later and two surgeries that I was able to workout again. The constant comfort food on the couch didn't help either. I don't beleive in New Year's resolutions, but as of the forst week in january I resolved to be the same weight I was last February. I started at 226 pounds and as of this morning I'm at 219. I want to be around 210 by February 23! At 2 pounds a week, I'll get there! I'll jump on the support wagon!
I started my diet on Jan. 2. So far I've lost 10 pounds but have a ways to go. Want to be able to look good in bathing suit (or not)lol! See you all in May.
Stepped on the scale before Christmas and was stunned at seeing 260. Back down to 240 now. Looking for another 10 by BBG.
