Agree. My comments are relative to many years of being there with no prudes. I have a tendency to get a little active late at night and the occasional experience that I have mentioned in recent visits represents a very rare occurrance as a percentage of the whole. Don't worry about it. I would guess that your wife will be better behaved than I am occasionally.
We’ve had mixed experiences in Bash. Don’t get me wrong, we’ve never encountered anything other than positive and friendly people (especially when in ridiculously revealing/silly outfits) but most people do just tend to hover, watching the brave few venture into stage. Wild horses could not get me up on there!! We loved Paty’o’s. Yes it was a sweaty mess and it smelled of burgers and regret, but it was intimate and you could actually speak to people and meet folks, whereas Bash is like a genuine nightclub. We would love the quiet pool to have more seating, or even for the pool to be open so we could cool off, have a drink, meet folks and maybe encounter/administer the odd wandering hand ;-)
"smelled of burgers and regret" Haha... Amazing... Well this will be my first time since the reno.... but I will be bringing the party... Whats the old saying??? "If there's a party worth doing... it's worth doing yourself " And for those of you who don't like the raised dance floor? don't worry.. there will be nothing left of it by the time I am finished with it.... Haha... I am saying "I" because Mrs Lucky charm will be hiding in the corner pretending she doesn't know me... Pants off??? Party ONNNN!!!!
The shows are awesome, but I also think that after a solid day of drinking at the pool, a lot of people who've had about their limit, especially if a little siesta isn't taken in the afternoon. Last February was our 1st trip since the remodel and to be honest, when my wife was up on the stage dancing I was scared shitless she was going off the edge and breaking her neck! I'd be really surprised if there haven't been a few people injured on that stage.
1 other thing. Have they gotten rid of those god awful chairs? Don't want to be perceived as negative, we love the place but a few changes here and there would make it damn near perfect!!!
In April 2018, a crazy Newfie (Newfoundlander) went flying off the stage and we all freaked out until he bounced up off the floor from under a table and called out "I'm ok! I'm ok!" Pretty sure he wasn't feeling as "okay" the next morning. But it was funny at the time.
