We are booked for the Bash Tower Ocean View Room but I also see the option for Lush Tower Suite. Are these in the same Tower? What is the difference and is the Lush worth getting?
They are in the same tower. See the tower as U-shaped, Lush Rooms are the bottom of the U while the Bash ones are on the sides. Lush rooms have Jaccuzis on the balcony, Bash rooms don’t. Otherwise, pretty much the same amenities.
We’ve had both bash and lush rooms. Only used the jacuzzi tub once or twice during the stay which was fun to put on a show but I think the regular bash rooms are better personally.
We have had both room categories and unless you use the jacuzzi tub on the balcony the bash room is better, especially if you get a lower floor. If you have a lower floor room the lush room view is partly obstructed so you can't see the pool or the bash party area.
“Jacuzzi” is more of a dipping pool so not a plus. Balcony is a bit “squarer” in the middle two Lush rooms. We like the size of the two middle Lush rooms (slightly bigger) than normal bash as well. Never stayed in the “corner” (I know it’s a U) rooms. We also like the straight on view of the ocean and the ability to see both sides of the balcony show (or be the center of it- though that is not usually us!).
We were in a Bash Tower room, 4th floor, pretty close to the bottom part of the U where the Lush Tower rooms are. If you're a light sleeper like me, bring ear plugs, as you can still hear the bass thumping from Bash parties at night from where we were and Lush rooms on our floor.
