This is one thing that actually irritated me in April when we had a penthouse. On several occasions we ordered room service and it never came or at the 2 hour mark we gave up. You would think for that price we would be able to get something sent to the room. Butler claimed it was a supply demand issue. Too many people ordering. I would of hoped they could handle it.
Yeah we booked the Bash Tower for our 1st stay, to be honest wasn't much more dollar wise and we would rather be looking over the action / ocean than the garden / street. The rest the perks are just a bonus from there.
I haven't read through this thread but I will give my two cents: Get the Bash Tower. We have always booked a jacuzzi suite because we like the quiet area and the first floor, for those times when it's hard to get up stairs. This July trip was no different. My brother joined us and he booked a room in the Tower. We went to his room to check it out and it is also quiet and there is an elevator, for those times when it's hard to get up stairs. The rooms are comparable, but his room was nicer with the perks given to those with blue wristbands. That's where we'll be on future trips.
Rich people apparently don’t need to eat! They might think you are too busy counting your monies Or maybe the delivery staff don’t actually know the Penthouses exist or where they are!
I think it may have more to do with me answering the door naked and placing the tip $ on Mr Happy. Do that once and apparently they never want to come back. Jeesh, the sensitivity these days.
I think you have answered your own question on why you did not receive any further room service. I bet if you had Jen answer the door nakid with tip $ on/in Mrs Happy you would have had a line of people bringing you everything on the menu...and more
From what I've read they are insulated/sound proofed pretty well, we will see how that goes in late October, we had no issues with the rooms around the old Paty'O so I'm not worried about it. T
