Any insight on the upgrade from Garden to Jacuzzi since you said it's a small upgrade? We booked the secret sale for our second trip later this year, so Garden room I am sure. Last time we stayed in Bash and loved it, but not sure we would pay the difference again (we pre-booked it last time). We are interested in the upgrade to Jacuzzi though as we used it a lot on our last trip. Thank you!

I've never done an "upgrade" at the resort. We paid for it when we booked thru Orbitz, I think it was around $40-50 more per night. @Jen&Kyle would be the people to ask about upgrades once you are onsite.

And as we all know, everyone has a different take on what we find worth it or important.
    That’s what makes us different.
There is no right or wrong answer.
Always best to find out for oneself.
Of course I will never turn down a free upgrade to a Master Suite or Penthouse...just saying and throwing it out there just in case Mgt is reafing this;)

They will attempt to charge you $100 or even &150 a night but if it doesn’t matter much to you then you should counter with $50 a night. And hold firm. It has worked for us several times at the old TTR. Availability plays a big factor. Haven’t attempted at new TTR since we have always booked tower. But in our opinion $50 a night is worth it.

I couldn't get them to budge from $100 a night in May. I wouldn't bank on this being an easy upgrade to work out these days, unless the resort is pretty empty.

Better off just booking the tower rooms when you make your reservation, most sites we have been looking at are right around $125 USD extra per person for a 10 day trip.

Thanks for this insight! Really appreciate it. The room is important to us... within reason... for $50 night for sure... $100 or $150 not so much (Not to mention we suffer because of our Canadian dollar).

Thanks. We did prebook the tower the first trip, but the secret sale was too good to pass up. And as I said to Jen & Kyle - $125 extra a night for a 10 day trip is $1250usd which isn't so bad, but for us up north that's really $1650cad :( It hurts a bit more...
