Hi Everyone First timers here, Just wondering whether booking a jacuzzi room with the playful experience on top will be just as good if not better than the bash tower room? Is there any things that the playful experience doesn’t get you that the tower does? Just to clarify with the playful experience you get: VIP check-in Bottle of sparkling wine in your room upon arrival Daily turndown service with petit fours Access to the SKY lounge Room service & VOD Wine pairing in SHE (one per couple)* 1 hydrotherapy session per person 25-minute relaxing massage per couple or express facial* 15% or 25% discount at the spa* Tower Benefits other than a bigger room are: VIP check in & check out: enjoy the privileges of skipping the line. Applies to penthouses and master suites. Exclusive room service menu by our executive chef SKY 3.5 VIP Access: nothing but fun people and endless premium drinks at hand. Enjoy free access to this upscale hotspot. Free adult T.V. channels: is there anything else to say? Enjoy. Exclusive VIP sundeck area: a topless-optional sundeck where only VIPs get a perfect tan. Free calls to USA & Canada: homesick? Don’t worry, talk for as long you want. Superior Accomodations: Amazing rooms featuring larger spaces, privileged views and a premium location. Butler Service So does the tower room not get the comp spa package, sparkling bottle and free room service? Or am I reading it wrong! Any help would be greatly appreciated, just seeing whether it was worth paying to get the tower room?
Room service is included in the Tower Rooms. Spa and Sparkling Wine are not if not part of playful experience. We prefer the Plush Jaccuzi Rooms and Quiet Pool area. Feel free to message us any questions you may have!
Awesome thanks mate, maybe we will look at the jacuzzi room instead, really appreciate your guidance!
Just our opinion... the Tower rooms are far better than any others. There's really no comparison, but we've only been there 26 times.
Tower. Rooms are larger and you get sky lounge and room service anyway. There is really no VIP check-in or check-out, and it comes with the tower anyway, or we have not been able to figure it out. If we actually had VIP check-in, it was nothing special. (honestly I think VIP check-in may be just an expedited route to a sales pitch). Hallways are quieter in the tower than the older parts of the resort, especially on the lower floors of the tower (upper floors get more some road noise). You can get as many glasses of "sparkling wine" as you want, starting at check in. Unless you really want a bottle. Turn down service....just another person in your room that needs a tip. Most people don't have time for a hydrotherapy session. We've never had time for a spa there or even been in it. The free 25 minute is their way of getting you into the spa and upselling a 90 minute ritual. (yes, I may be a little cynical after going there for a few years ... upselling everywhere). I guess the playful experience may be the way to go if you really want to use the spa discount. Have no idea what a wine pairing is. Side note...worst part of recently becoming a member is the member's check-in desk with the upsell attempts every time we check in. The sundeck area (behind the sexy pool) for tower guests is a nice perk. It is where we usually park our belongings and relax, if necessary.
Hi Mexico24 thanks soo much for the in depth analysis! This will help my partner and I decide! We really appreciate the forum! It has answered all our questions! Thanks Lake couple
SkyBar access makes Bash Tower room worth it. Period. Free room service is a plus and Balcony shows are the extra added surprise. Downside is some noise from Bash (depending on room and if you “need” an early night.
We're looking at going early next year (haven been since before the remodel), I've heard the higher floor Bash rooms are the way to go. How do you request the higher floors when booking?
You can request but they always forget about it or don't honor it, unless you remind the clerk on check-in. If you book with the resort there is a section for requests (that they forget about anyway). We used to get higher rooms at the tower, but got stuck with a lower one our last trip and now prefer that. For some reason the upper rooms, with the open hallways, get a lot more road noise (like a lot more). Maybe the lower rooms are somehow shielded from the road because of the buildings, I really don't know why, but much quieter. Third floor, out towards the end, is about perfect.
