Yeah, I get that. My point was, TTR is a “repeater” hotel, and if you’ve been many times you aren’t likely to check the website each time for new rules, so it’s possibke for people to get caught during a change, or even by confused workers. My other point was just agreeing with John, that it’s odd a hat worn by someone else would upset your experience.
Any other 4/5 star hotel? When did TTR get any stars? Are we counting pasties? Have to ask as we go to the Ritz in Aruba or the JW in Shanghai for "stars", we go to TTR for "fun" and non judgement. But that's us.

Every time I see these " let me tell you how to dress and act on YOUR vacation" threads, one thing always comes to mind....... MYOFB If someone wearing a cap in a resort restaurant, where earlier people were doing shots in the pool, out of someones ass crack, .......if that cap traumatizes you and ruins your vacation, you need to have a few more drinks and get that stick out of your ass. Then again, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
