Not everyone has had or does have the same experience(s). Point is there is a difference for members vs. non members and even when we were not we had zero issues. I dont even know if other members are treated the same or if lke us.
Trip advisor lost it's credibility when the gang bang we thought we had just booked our first trip did not happen. Haven't read a review since.
Members we been for the last 5-8 yrs at Desire even when we had no status they treated us like royalty. From Check in to Check out. At TTR check in has always been an issue for us since the remodel. Because when Damian and Martha(I believe that is her name) they took care of that everything and it was just amazing I hope this young lady gets out of Premier and gets another role because customer services is not her strong point I wish I can remember her name
We have been twice now since remodel, just returning mid June. Our experience with check in was fantastic, very smooth! Bell boys were great and very helpful! Possibly we were swayed due to the fact we scored a 6 floor Bash tower room near the corner above Bash after booking the Cyber Sale!! We expected to stare out our room into the street... back to the point, we were very happy with the young gal at front desk!
Wow, you must also be TTR known legends just like me as confirmed by @marshe (TTR’s Madam Marhse) again just this morning! The confirmation just made my day, no wait...my week... no wait again...my month....no, no WAIT for it... MY LIFE! Some need to get one I am happy for your similar experiences to ours and the confirmation that we ain’t special.
Both times we checked in, we were offered welcome drinks....maybe we got lucky. One time we arrived at 7am, however they did their best to have us checked in ASAP. We got our room at 11:30am.
Lol. Maybe we’re on our way after just our 7th trip completed! Although we’re not members... I just feel we’ve been better lucky than good! Been good times so far!
Yes, we were offered drinks as well! And we arrived at resort at 10:30am and our room was ready which we got room keys and went right on up! We were thrilled with that! Expecting to stay sober enough to remember checkin at 3.
Check-in has always been a problem for us, both before and after the remodel, and with and without Premier check-in. It's typically our least favorite part of the trip. I can see how the pain in the ass it is could cause people's trip to start off on the wrong foot. Thank god we are mentally prepared to deal with it each time.
