Two questions that popped in my head while at work.... Is there 24hr bar? I seen some post that indicated a 1AM close? Can you get alcohol at different areas in the resort? Is there a departure tax? Only even been to DR and Cuba? Thanks, Tanya
The departure tax should be covered in your ticket price unless you are traveling non-rev. Last sep the departure tax was 48usd. It was 62 the week before we arrived. The ticket agent at the airport says it changes randomly.

Margaritas serves till 5am Im pretty sure.Then the pool bar is the first to open in the morning at 10 am. I tried to be there within an hour each way
