Bar Hopping Tour - What's the best night to do it?

Hey folks! I am a newbie to the site and have found it very helpful thus far. I am going to Cancun for the 2nd time from July 28th - August 4th, staying at the Royal Mayan. There's 9 of us going and we want to do the bar hopping tour. What is the best (craziest) night to do it? We don't want to spend the money to go out on a dead night. Thanks! [/b]

Weekends always crazy. Sometimes good idea to find out which night is ladies night -- bars usually busy. Tuesdays at some clubs, isn't it?
