On Avenida La Luna, right across the street from Mundo Animal. (Near the Pizza Hut and Dominos)

It's pretty small, so keep your eyes peeled!

    Val,
On La Luna, a block or so after you cross Nichupte, if you are coming from Kabah, and it's on the left. You can't miss Domino's and Cervifrio. I am about to head over there now.

Sahara is off Yaxchilan, the first street that runs to the right after the tope, Gladiolas. The first street after the tope runs toward Yax so you want the next one.

It is the last place, or almost the last place, on the left before you have to take a right or run into the park. The owners here are Lebanese and have been there the times I have eaten there. I am usually a falafel and hummus guy. The hummus is especially good but I usually add a bit more oil.

Good luck finding one or both.

    Thanks!

I've been to Sahara's several times, but want to give the other one a shot for a quick kebab. Should be able to locate it now.

Tried this yesterday and it was okay. Not great by any means, but will go back as a quick meal place. He does need to cook the fries a bit longer to get them crispier.

    Hey Val,

I have never had a Kebab there that was less than excellent, in terms of flavor, texture, moisture and the accompanying items. As you know, there are only two tables and the place is quite tiny. So I cannot comment on ambience, decor and presentation. Jaja.

I must agree with you on the fries though, which I have only had once, and that was last week. I went with a buddy who is well known for his food consumption, and we had a #3 Pkg. Two grande kebas, two orders of fries and two drinks. I think it was $180. In the future I will stick to a kebab and a drink.
