Can't disagree with any of that. Me and couple of friends are in Cancun from the 13th and staying at the Oasis. We're happy to hang out with anyone, male or female. We're not fussy! On a serious note your safety should come first.
There is enough people that are on this forum that will be there at the same time. Not to say that you shouldnt be aware of random people off a random forum but the general tone is always good! just stay away from scottish ger!!!!! I am at oasis from the 9th through to the 22nd. I will not be easy to miss just look for the party and i will be center stage! If in doubt drop a line on the trusty old Facebook search Barney Stinson with the profile pic of a kid in a toy car!!

if worst comes to worst, find couples @ the hotel to hang out with ? maybe not stay @ such a party resort?
Well Oasis is all there is left, apart from really crappy hotels. I would'nt mind a quieter place but eh last minute is what it is.
I think the oasis would be your best bet if going alone! Never a dull moment where you will feel alone. One day at the pool and you will have friends for the week! Hope you go!
