SO.... We just left the bar We went to dinner at the Mexican place, and it was ok, the service has always been great at all the places we ate here. Food is ok, we have found something everywhere that is good enough. It's average all inclusive food but service is always with a smile. We left the bar at 10pm. I see why it closes early... I have pics but can't post them until I am at home. We were only there about 30 min. At 10pm there was only 3 other people ( 1 couple playing pool and 1 single guy) in the whole bar ( not including staff). Not the night life we were hoping for, but that's ok, tomm night we will just go out and check out some clubs in town or something. We're back in the room and hubby is screaming at me to '' get off the laptop and come give him a dance'' so it looks like we are gonna make our own party in the room On the plus side, drinks are strong. I actually had to ask them to make them with more mix, lol. Maybe the bar just gets going later and we are too impatient to wait for it to start. If it does get going later, then you don't have much time with it closing at 1am. I am unable to locate the free hot tubs. There is two tubs by one of the pools, but there are empty. we tried turning one of them on to fill it up, but the water was just warm, so we gave up. Looks like no hot tub for us unless someone can help us out here and tell us where or what's what. We got a beach, sun, free drinks, and good service. We can live with that
Okay, before you leave the room, can you check that crappy TV and see if there are the two porn channels they promised us, at least??????
I thought I'd also post our room pics. I reserved an ocean standard room on travelocity. We were off of the main elevators, which I believe is the older section. Hope this is helpful.
See??? why the heck can't I get a room like this? This is what I was expecting. GOV STAFF? Hello... I am currently stuck in a crap hole room and the front desk refuses to help me. Where are you guys? I want a room like everyone else is getting not the motel room I am in. We are stuck here till Friday and I would really apprechiate some help getting one of those advertised rooms. Please?
I need to quit looking at this thread until I am home. It just makes me mad to see the nice rooms it seems like everyone else is getting and have to look at the crappy one we are stuck in. I don't wanna be pissed about anything, I am in mexico, and just want to have a good time and enjoy myself, even if I am stuck in a crappy room. I just keep reminding myself, ''I didn't come here for the room''. But with nothing else going on, it seems like we are in that room a lot
Don't feel stuck in your room!! You are a 5-10Minute walk from some of the best nightlife! Get out there and shake it!!
