I followed the 10 second rule when dealing with anyone in Cancun that can get you arrested. Plead your case for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, negotiate. I negotiated one bottle of tequila (small one at that) for my continued freedom and ability to party at 'Frogs.
Well, yes... but the potential was still there besides, there were still a few of us left inside when Andrew and I got back. Well worth the price paid
A bottle of tequila is a small price to pay for a continuation of the festivities. And a helluva lot better than an extended visit with the Federales.
