Bachelor Party At Temptation- Looking for tips,expectations,etc.

this is going to be much briefer than I planned - my damn computer keeps erasing what I type and I'm getting annoyed and my Jersey is about to come out and I'm gonna chuck the dang thing across the kitchen!! Anyway!...)

Glass is half-full perspective: Your friends in relationships are respectful and make friends with couples and singles alike at the resort. Out comes the AIWC and body shots. There is a good chance they will be invited to partake in a nipple AIWC shot or body shot of some kind.

At night, the Paty O's onsite bar atmosphere will be packed full of ladies barely dressed (see various threads of pictures some of us have posted of our "outfits"), alcohol flowing, music going - potential for heavy flirting.

With the couples that come on the forum, we stress communicating limitations before taking the trip. With guys in relationships going WITHOUT their significant other, they will need to figure out that limitation on their own and/or decide "what happens in Cancun stays in Cancun." And, just like with the couples going, if someone hits on anyone, a simple polite "I'm flattered but no thank you" or "Gee, I'd LOVE to lick that AIWC off your nipple but I told my girlfriend I'd behave" goes a long way.

 

No disrespect but when I get married the last place im having my bachelor party is at Temptation...Ive been there enough to know that groups of guys just don't fit in with the scene there..Anyways have fun and be respectful and go to the nightclubs if you are looking to hook up

 

Thanks so much Tim I greatly appreciated the response here. As mentioned, I came to the thread just wanting to get an expectation and a realistic one at that and I now have a better understanding of what to expect. I didn't want this post to be incendiary by any means. I understand the fact that guys have come with the wrong mentality and caused havoc, hence, my Desire to reach out to fellow travelers and TTR regulars to level-set expectation.

As you mentioned, the responses to this thread is making me a bit hesitant as we go in as I don't want to be looked down upon walking around the pool because I am not walking around with a significant other. Although it it should be already assumed I will further stress the importance of respectfulness to our group- as we aren't your frat bro group of guys- while we've had our fun in the past, I think we are at the age where we want to have a great time, and not cause any trouble- let alone in Mexico.

I do hope if we do partake in the activities by the pool, people won't make preconceived judgment based on bad apples in the past.

definitely hit the night clubs, the entertainment staff sells vip tickets and goes to one club a night. transportation to club and all booze included but have to find your own way back to resort. Taxi or bus or walk. it is not too far.

 

fellow single guy here, just about to go back home sadly. Take what everyone says with a grain of salt. Just come and have fun. You'll get out of your trip what you want to. Be personable, don't be embarrassed to walk up to people ad say hi. If they don't want to talk to you, it'll be clear relatively quickly (I know this from personal experience, though it doesn't happen often).

Just move on to the next group and not get concerned, its not you its them. if the scene at the hotel isn't your thing at night head out to a club (the staff takes people to a different club every night if you want to do that).

The comments on single guys by some folks are mostly knee jerk and kind of sad in my opinion. Your behaviour will determine how others perceive you, just like anywhere else, and your friend must be doing something right to have a woman want to marry him after all.

 

Your opening post says you researched and read the forums for 3-months, asking the question if this is primarily a couples resort proves that is a lie.

I guess it's because I saw the bachelor party prior posts from other people and couldn't tell if the forum was a random sample of hotel guests or if the hotel was in fact primarily only for couples. I came here seeking info on TTR and while I understand for many of the couples in this thread its a place of grace and serenity I didn't expect the outward attack-like reaction I got..... which is the sole reason I didn't register earlier because I didn't know what to expect.

We will be on the cruise when you arrive. We will find you when we get back and have a drink or two. We have made friends with many single guy. I will say not so good with group of guys. That being said we have not meet you yet so you start with a clean slate. Until you show other wise you are all welcome. Hope to enjoy your company and give me a chance to have good things to say about your group.
