Yes , ours is a direct flight takes around 10 hours and they are difficult to get. I think BA fly two or three a week and virgin once and sometimes twice when its busy? It was the biggest problem going to cancun, getting a direct flight and an upgrade seat which as anyone knows the longer the flight the quicker the better seats sell out. Hotel rooms are the easy bit. Our 1st time to cancun in around 2 weeks..... Hope its worth the effort?
Yes, but they forgot to have us sign the waiver when we checked in. But sure enough, when we went to check out, here came the waiver slip. We will never see deals like that again.
2400 bucks for ten days and a flight is not bad not sure your going to do better. IF you wish to save money cut it to 7 days or buy the hotel only and shop the flight, as I have been 60-40 in favor of findinf my own flight cheaper. And I wouldnt buy into this guarentee that if you fly threw them everything is kosher as, everybody is on the same flight and transfer anyways. I would also suggest shopping around, I know some people get hung up on using THEIR travel agent. I would check apple as well. probably the most professional outfit I have been with, and they have tons of clout down there, every hotel of theirs has a rep all day long. ANd if your a new traveler or scared somewhat of Mexico, these guys hold your hand from the airport to the hotel. We used apple twice. Once in RM at Barcelo and in punta canta. Punta Canta was not what was advertised, not a cheap place but not expensive, but not worth the 4 star i paid for. I get home and file a complaint. Some VP calls me and I guess apple owns some hotels. She went to tell the hotel was a 3 star and their standard practive is to up it one star before they really look at it, which she doesnt know why. But she said they had a few complaints. She said they bought the hotel a month ago and were in the process of sending an "action team" there. But I got $150 off per peson and $500 voucher to use within a year. So they stand behind what they do. ANd their prices are often on par or cheaper.
