Think of a drag race between some new car vs. a 1970 chevy chevelle. The new car is just new. That's all that 99% of the new cars have going for them. The old muscle car is going to kick the new car's ass 99% of the time. Temptations is full of experienced partiers. The 99% has already been skimmed and your dealing with the top 1% here. Don't write off the muscle car just cause it's old. It'll still go. With that said, the range is 21 - 70+. If anybody remembers Henry from last year, he was throwing down an awesome party and he was probably pushing mid-70's. Dude was a rockstar. Average age would be 35-45 ish. The 20 somethings lose. The old guys will out-party them consistently.
I have a new (08) modified WRX that would put tail lights to most muscle cars. At 10.8 ish seconds in the quarter mile, its a force to be reckoned with. Now that we have the car analogy out of the way. Youngins tend to try and drink and drink and drink, and we all know that does not work. 2 shots, 2 glasses of water, 2 beers a glass of water. The old muscle cars pace themselves, the new cars just try and go. Is this a rabbit and hare story? Its going to be epic either way, lets have some fun, drinks or no drinks!!
If late 40s was too old I would have had to stop going a long time ago!!! Your'e never to old to have a good time and there's no better place to have fun than TTR.
29 forever, if you can keep up I will tell you my real age. Hahahaha Been our party place since 2004.
Uh oh... a subie owner... and you'll be at TTR in April right? Don't let my wife see this. She loves how TTR is an escape from most car talk... (I have a turbo Miata and I'm a former sti owner).. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I'd guess that the "mean" average would be around the upper 40s or lower 50s, but the "average is probably low 40s. That's where we are, and we always feel right at home. There's some 20-somethings, and there are usually at least a few 70-somethings, and the occasional octogenarians, but average would be low 40s, ranging up to the high 40s as an average. Math stuff. No matter who is there, the younguns or the oldsters, it's always a good time though!
We've been regulars since 2005. The average age seems to be rising due to the fact most people return once they experience TTR. As they age (physically) it pushes up the average. The only age that isn't welcome is under 21. Otherwise LETS PARTY!!!!! :headbanger::headbanger::headbanger:
To Old !!! There was a sign above a couple of wall hooks at Patty Os that read "Canes and walkers go here". Most popular drink is Miralax and water.
