If it's that much of an issue, perhaps you should consider holidaying at another resort? Sometime, somehow, somewhere your photo will appear, even if you are just in the background, and if you're going to spend your whole stay stressing about it, you're not going to be able to enjoy yourself? At least with an Avatar you can control what you look like - probably not stupid drunk, in the sexy pool doing body shots!
I'm not as worried With me not having one as some people are. I just don't see the big deal. If no one knows you and no one gives a shit then why is an avatar such a big deal to some. I guarantee the same people who are making the biggest deal will be the same people who will want to hang out with us. Some people have been cool and made no issue about it. Heck we have even exchanged pictures with some members in here via email. The reason I started this thread is because we have gotten 2 very rude private messages because we don't have an avatar.
can you have a pic and hide your faces with sunglasses or block it out. It would be better then Nothing at all.
You can make a private album, only visable to you CC friends. You can do wonders with photo shop to make you look very different too. Sit at the west end of the pool , most pics are taken facing east. Wear big sunglasses and you should be fine. :daveandmo:
You could leave the avatar generic but have a private album up with pictures. Then only friends on here see them.
That makes sense. I see some people get all flustered for nothing. There are picture collectors out there that get people upset.
I can see how people wouldn't want to add an Avatar...even though we all know what kind of a resort it is...there are people out there who just assume its a swinger's resort. We share our pic..but then again we have no worries about people finding us since this isn't some place anyone we know would be interested in. Only a couple of close friends know we holiday here and they don't care, but we know it isn't some place they would go. As for my family they wouldn't understand why we would come to a place like this...me show my boobies oh my!! My mom wouldn't understand that...lol
