As much as I don't like and will never use Facebook the new adds suck ass and will prevent me from using CCC if they keep popping up the way they do on a mobile device. T
I took the previous automated ads down for a while but started again recently with less aggressive ads. For those not too happy please bear with it, we are collecting data. There's a need to balance user experience with advertising, but to do that we need to collect data about which ads are effective and which are a waste of time. The waste of time ones will obviously go once I have enough data to make an informed decision.
I’d ask your support people about MySQL (if you’re using that) binary and transaction logs. You could restore the back and replay the log until the oops.
I’ve seen a few transient origin errors. I’m not sure if it’s related to ClownFlare persay, some things do seem slower since DB restore, so maybe you lost some indexes during that time and they’re timing you out? Just a guess..
I'm not sure if it's related to the ads, but the load times for pages has gotten much slower, and many time it will just display a blank page with the text "Origin Error". I'll then need to hit refresh to get the actual page up. I'm using Google Chrome on a PC.
I think there might be something going on with geo routing. The way some of that stuff works i have a good idea. I dug into some things last night. If you want PM me we can do some quick troubleshooting steps while you’re in a PC.
These ads are killing me on my iPhone! I keep getting these popups that I have to completely close out of to get back to ccc.
