Reba - Check these tour packages out and see if you have a preference. Any of them are fine with me. They seem pretty similar; depart hotel between 7-8AM and back between 7-8PM, $47-$69/per person. I think we should probably book ahead to secure our spots on the tour. Chichen Itza Day Trip from Cancun - Cancun | Viator Chichen Itza Deluxe Tour from Cancun Tour impressive Mayan ruins, proving to be the most advanced. The Gray Line tour doesn't look like it includes the Chichen Itza entrance fee but the other 2 do. Might be an additional $15-$20. Let me know what you think and let's get booked & go! Wally
I just facebooked Bob.. Hope to hear back today. All three look good to me. I kind of like the menu better on Gray line. I love mexican food. Our hotel doesn't offer it Do you know if the sister location has mexican food?I might need to go into Cancun and look for some - anyways. I will get back to you as soon as I hear. Do you have a preference? Rebs
I was actually leaning towards the Gray Line so I'm good with that choice. I love Mexican food too and am disappointed Golden doesn't offer any. I just checked Great's website and they have a restaurant called El Maguey that says it's "traditional Mexican cuisine" Menu -> http://www.parnassusresorts.com/d/greatresorts/media/PDFs/Menu_El_Maguey_Restaurant.pdf Wally
Bob is good with what ever we choose. I will book Gray line for Bob and I for the 29th. Pick up at Golden. Looking forward to it.. rebs
Great! I just booked for the 29th. Thanks for messaging me about going. I'm looking forward to it. Should be fun!
Just saw the weather forecast for the 24th - 31st. I hope it improves. It looks like clouds and some rain every single day.
Just my 2 cents, but in August it can get pretty hot that far inland. In June '12 we opted for the Chichen Itza night show tour. At that time it was only available on Wednesday nights. We got to swim in the Ik Kil cenote (which is amazing), we then ate lunch and proceeded to Chichen Itza. It gave us plenty of daylight to explore the grounds then at dusk you sit in chairs as they illuminate the ruins and describe historical aspects of the site. I also highly recommend the tour organized by Entertainment-plus.
