there is fun to be had but certainly not in your face
we are swingers and love the scene
but have just as much fun socialising and getting to know people

My girlfriend and I will also be popping out TTR cherries at the end of August. Sounds like everyone here to have a great time! Too bad I'm gonna get the fever right before the renovations

Hi, Welcome!!! Congrats!!! Hubby and I will be celebrating an early 33rd Anniversary....First trip was last year, we had so much fun, meet some great people that we just had to come back and send off the old and Next year ring in the New TTR!!! Not sure when in August you're going but if it's at the end here are the theme nights so you'll know what's going on at least.....The resort themes are also listed but here on CCC we tend to step it up a notch!! lol

The TTR Resort Themes themselves are:

MONDAY: Hot Batucada Parade -- Dress Code: Dress As You Wish
(BTW, "Batucada" refers to a very drum heavy Brazilian samba sort of sound/dancing music. They play it for about 10 minutes or so, LOL!)

TUESDAYS: Party like a Rockstar! -- Dress Code: Denim & Leather.
(I like Daisy Dukes and leather as much as the next guy raised on 80s rock, but in August it's going to be HOT! temperature-wise, everyone, keep that in mind. Smaller clothes to survive.)

WEDNESDAY: BDSM Night -- Dress Code: Latex sexiest Outfit.
(If ya wanna wear latex outfits in Mexico in Summer's heat of August, you knock yourself out, because you will almost certainly be unconscious sooner rather than later, just sayin'...)

THURSDAYS: lingerie Carnival -- Dress Code: Ladies: Sexy lingerie. Gentlemen: Boxers/Pijamas.(MANDATORY DRESS CODE TO ACCESS CASINO)...(The Classic Temptation party night)

FRIDAYS: The Ultimate Bacchanal Party -- Dress Code: Hot White Outfit.
(BTW, "Bacchanal" refers to the ancient god Baccus

SATURDAYS: Fancy Temptation Night -- Dress Code: Sexy in Red.

SUNDAYS: Mexican Fiesta! -- Dress Code: [None Listed]

BUT From Aug 27th to Sept 3rd The themes are:

Saturday, August 27: Burlesque Night (Corsets with undies or boy shorts & heels)
Sunday, August 28: ABC Night (Go WILD!!)
Monday, August 29: Sexy Robes and Pajama party
Tuesday, August 30: (Denim leather & Lace/rock star) OR Tarzan, Zenia, Adam & Eve
Wednesday, August 31: White Dress Shirt & Heels Night (the 1-button only rule until 11:00 p.m.!) Guys, Get Risky, it's White shirts (open for you) and boxers.

It will get as Crazy as you both want it to get....We are not swingers either, some nights we partied hard and late and some we went in early, others we didn't leave the room after going back from the sexy pool about 5 or so...it's all in what you want to do and how much you want to partake....It's YOUR vaca/Honeymoon and swingers will know if you're not into it, if you're not you're not... they are not pushy....Most are respectful and always ask hubby for permission, not that we know this first hand but just know from chatting and knowing some of them. I do warn to beware of the first day curse!! Before heading to the sexy pool to Drink the day away, GO EAT First!!! Pleanty of great places to grab a bite!! At least if you have something in your stomach you'll still be able to go out your first night there!! lol Partake in the theme nights and make friends here.....if when you get there you don't see or find people from here step out of your comfort zone and go up to a group of people and introduce yourself and say hi!!! And by alllllll Means if there is a Boobs Cruise during your stay GO ON IT!!! Best time ever!!

Last year in August we popped our TTR cherry. First timers seem to worry about the swinging aspect of TTR, I know we were curious/concerned. We are not in the lifestyle, however we talked about what we would and wouldn't do if we found ourselves in a situation.

Here is our story: We met couples from all stages from non-swingers up to swingers willing to do anything. Since we were open to some things and definitely curious, we did find ourselves in conversations around the topic (because we didn't shy away and instigated most of the conversations) We met a couple on the Boobs Cruise that were full on swingers and were asked about going back to their room. We never followed through with it because someone might have been a wee bit drunk and passed out in the shower getting ready (my bad) but never made it there. What would have happened? Who knows. They weren't pushy and we talked to them explaining we weren't in the lifestyle but knew people who were and were familiar enough with terminology for a conversation. We explained what we were willing to do and kind of looking for. The Mrs enjoys a kiss or two from another lady and at the time wanted to try more so she was open to see where that would lead.

We have met many couples that are not in the lifestyle at home but loosen up to different degrees at TTR. That is why people say it is truly what you want to make it. If it is something you're curious about make sure you have an open conversation with each other before you go. We had a couple where the husband wouldn't leave the ladies alone as they talked and explored what they wanted to do which rubbed me wrong. The Mrs and I talked about it and didn't interact with them the remainder of the time after she had asked him to back off multiple times.

If you're worried about swinging or swingers, don't. My guess is if you don't initiate the conversation you won't know who is and who isn't. If you want to ask us anything send us a PM.
