Any nice folks willing to sponsor a night pass? So my lady (25 y/o) and I (30 y/o) are making our first trip to Cancun from Aug 4th - Aug 9th. I've read some really interesting things about Tempatations and although we're not staying there I was interested in maybe checking out a night pass to explore the resort at night. Has anyone in here ever sponsored someone 's night pass? Either way, would anyone reading this be interested in sponsoring us? Won't cost you a dime... I think we'd just need to tell the front desk that you're sponsoring us... that's all... no strings attached! Plus it would be nice to meet some new folks while we're out there! Thanks for reading! Hey All!!! My boyfriend and I have been following this forum for about a month (this is our first post) and have to say we are really looking forward to this trip. Our first trip to TTR with the dates 8/12 - 8/16. The majority of the people that have posted here seem very cool and regardless of some of the other posts...I think this is going to be a fun time. I agree with Tamaryth, we should try to meet up at a certain place at a certain time. That would alleviate some unnecessary staring...lol. I do have a question as to the nightlife outside the hotel. I would like to go out to Coco Bongo and The City, does anyone have a recommendation on the best night to go? This is my boyfriends second trip outside the country (I am hooked on Spain/Ibiza myself) and he is a bit apprehensive about the local nightlife. Thanks and can't wait to get there!!!!!! D-N-R
D-N-R ... go to the clubs with the entertainment staff from TTR....you get transportation to the club, VIP entrance and drinks fo abour $45 per person. You have to get yourself back to TTR but busses and cabs are easy to find. I think TTR goes to Coco Bongos on Mondays but the schedule for clubs is listed somewhere on the website. The hotel zone (where all the night clubs are) is very safe. My husband and I have been going for over 8 years now and have never had a problem. Have fun

CinciCouple is right the clubs in the hotel zone are very safe. The Mexican government goes to extra measures to make sure the tourist areas are safe. We always go out with the TTR group to the clubs 2-3 times each trip to Cancun and we never miss Coco Bongos. Just 3 more weeks until we arrive.
