Attention: New Dress Code Policy for Reservation Restaurants

Nice shorts are just as nice or even nicer than blue jeans. And look nice with a button up shirt.

 

No kidding. Sure it's not nice to look at some hairy guy at the buffet line, but come on with the clothing morality.

You don't go to someone's house to eat in shabby clothing, but you also don't go to someone's pool and motorboat vodka gummies off of the nearest naked rack, just saying.

It's a Cancun vacation, for whatever that's worth. I prefer dress shorts, hope that's ok.

 

You CAN look good in shorts if you are prepared.





But why no one discusses the T-shirts with short sleeves ? If it's a good design T-shirt , but short sleeves ?

 

I don't want to be eating next to ANY of those guys. My wife will be paying no attention to me.

Couldn't agree with you more.. Us thorns have to compliment the roses that are willing to accompany us there

 

My Tommy Bahama silk shorts fit right in, my wife likes them and I'm comfortable.

I'll be sure to ask the chef what he thinks of them when I'm down there.

This is ridiculous. For 14 years that we've been going it has always been the same policy. Any clothing for the buffet. Any of the specialty restaurants has always been no sandals, no sleeveless shirts and only long pants. They have however changed a tad bit to allow nice dress shorts. Only for the men. Now however, for the women it has always been anything goes. Just how it is. So I don't really understand why part of this thread started to get ugly. Someone posted a picture of either a new sign or a sign that they just noticed. So what. Nothing has changed.
