    do the cash machines in cancun accept uk cards,such as solo or maestro??
    because when i go out there i get paid bout 4 days after i arrive and might need the money.

    Yes they do,but check with your bank before hand about charges, as some UK banks will mug you for using a card abroad.

    im with hsbc,who are terrible anyway,but will check what they will charge.cheers mate.

    But I think this goes without saying that the amounts you will see on your balances surely will be in pesos...

    ah yea didnt think of that,ill have to have a currency convertor at hand,haha.

    haha,i can imagine because at the mo 1 uk pound equals over 2 dollars at the moment,which is pretty good,but peso's i think ill get very lost & confused with it,haha.

    Standard rule of thumb over the last few years... 1 pound = 20 pesos.

    Unless something drastic happens between now and then, use the above for quick math.
