are there ATM machine's at the resort (or somewhere nearby?) I don't like carrying a lot of money on me - and prefer getting some out of ATM while I'm there.
I don't recall seeing ATM's at the resort. I think there is one at the C-Store next door (not positive though).
There is one at the little grocery/conv. store right in front of Temp. to the left. It didn't work the very first time we tried it, but was fine every time after that. The buttons are worn off and the sun makes it really hard to read what you're asking for , so be careful pressing buttons. We had to make it a group effort, one holding a towel to block the sun and the other pressing buttons.
It's always fun using an ATM in a foreign language. Couldn't find the "Withdrawalo" button the first time. I figured just keep hitting buttons until money came out. Was worried that i was hitting deposit instead of withdrawal or something but it seemed to work out. I find that the ATMs down there actually give better exchange rates than the local banks here. It's weird. You'd think opposite.
ATM The gift shop has a ATM in it... Or did last June .. oh dont forget your dealing with Peso's 500 = 50 bucks
This will be our 5th trip to mexico and we have used a credit card every time without ever having a problem. Just let your credit card company know that you will be traveling out of the country and give them the dates.
