Pretty sure there is an ATM at the resort, and am absolutely sure there is one at the end of the parking lot by the C-store.
We use the one at the C-store...not sure if one in resort. Remember to call your bank and let them know you will be using an ATM in Mexico and what the dates of your trip are. We did this with our credit cards too and then if odd after charges show up they are flagged right away. Remember ATM is pesos...so 200 withdraw is really only 20 USD....messed my hubby up the first time.
There is an ATM in the gift shop at the resort...Not sure about the fees...I know it only gives you pesos....
and make sure your PIN number does NOT start with a zero. ATM's down there do not accept PIN's that start with zero.
When you use an atm in another country, the atm charges a fee, your bank charges a fee and a additional fee for currency exchange. So only use an atm if you have to. I once paid 15 dollars for one withdraw, that was my last bank not sure what my current bank charges, it is something to look in to. Plus the atm holds your card untill your transaction is complete, if your drunk you may forget it. Also if you purchase anything use a credit card not a debit card, if there is any fraud it is MUCH and I mean MUCh easier to get it back on a credit card than your debit. Just a few words of wisdom from someone that has gone through it.
