Which tower did you stay in? We got the beach tower (the cheapest) which is OK, but SO far from the beach and water slides and everything that next time I will pay a bit more and stay in the Coral Towers. I remember it took me 15 mins to walk to the good pool to get a towel in the morning. Sounds like you had a terrific time, even better when someone else pays, damn, that's great. I know that place is mad expensive. The cheapest restaurant there was the sports bar in the casino (Atlas?) and that alone was like $50 for 2 people for dinner and just 2 beers. Speaking of which, Did you try the Kalik?
I love the Altantis. That place just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I actually got married there in 98 by the aquariums below the seashell bar. Amazing place. Glad to hear you had a great time.
I am picking up the pics today. I cant wait to see them. Cancun Chica- I stayed in the Royal Towers on the east wing. It was an incredible place to stay. And YES!!!! it was Kalik the whole time!!! thats all I drank the entire time. Ant- no, I didnt get to do that slide. Didnt have the time and no one else I was with was interested in doing it. Carol- the place is huge. They just opened up the new part of the resort which in called "The Cove" and it has the newest Hotel they just opened 3 weeks ago. We ate there on our second night. and this is the most expensive and most luxurious tower of the entire resort. Rumor had it that Tiger Woods was staying in that hotel same w/e we were there.....but I never saw him. PS.....Shaq was in our same tower, but in the Grand Master suite (or whatever it is you call it. the same one Ophra stays at) and we could see him walking around at nite and watching TV!!!!
