I think Jamie and I will jump on an offer for a 1 or 2 day bump to Desire if it's available. We've got a long 12 days booked at TTR, so we've got plenty of time to party it up!
If you do get the bump towards the end of the trip (when you likely need that break) say hi, we will be there May 10-17.
Thanks for the review guys! We have many friends that have done both resorts and said the same thing: 1) "the place makes Temptation look like shit": This is the first thing everyone says. Well is no mystery that TTR is in the low end, probably a 3 star rating would be more adequate. 2) "older crowd.." : Yup, we heard this too 3) "DO NOT EXPECT TO PARTY LIKE ANIMALS": The main reason why we are not going there anytime soon. We might do it say in 10-15 years from now...

Can you ask them if you are able to visit the other Desire, Desire RM for the day? There is a big debate on the Desire forum about how they may of started charging $150 to visit rm while staying at pearl and vice versa. Seems ridiculous but original resorts seems to be doing whatever they can these days to add $$$.
Yes. They are charging because we met a premier couple here and they we're telling us how pissed they were when they wanted to go to maya desire and. Now there is a charge for the day pass to party there. I herd it's more party and younger crowd there.
