We have stayed there too and you are right about free room service. Just gave a couple dollars as a tip. Ordered breaky and lunch room service everyday at Valentin. Also have been to several Secrets properties and room service was free
If the person delivering the food to the room actually kept the 12 dollar fee for themselves it wouldn't bother me at all. If that happened that delivery person would be the highest paid person working there by a lot , so I doubt that happens. The 12 bucks is going into owners pocket
I know it's not Cancun but the Sandals in Great Exuma Bahamas had room service. It was a great option to be able to stay in and eat, while the wife got ready. Then, meet everyone later in the evening. It seemed to be more of an efficient use of our time.
About 5 yrs ago we stayed at Golden Parnassus and room service was free. Not sure if it's still that way.
Can anyone answer this (cant find it) what is the cost to upgrade from std (not remodeled) to spice standard (remodeled) at the counter?? Orbitz has it any where from $18 to $30 to $42 depending on promo code and month.
I can understand why they charge a fee for late night delivery and do not have a problem with it. It is a nice convenience to have while one may be crawling around the floor looking for the button to stop the room from spinning.
was at GP.end of dec.2013 yes room service is free from a select menue was good for us at 3 or 4 am...always tipped of course,also a card was in the room fill out leave on ur door b4 3 am for your morning coffee, juice,fruit toast ect just needed to tip ....that was good service....
All Sandals have room service included. We have silver sandals and have stayed at 6 different properties in Sandals chain. But that is a way different price point, and room service is expected to be included. Just thinking more on this, I think GP has room service included, but we were penthouse guests with jacuzzi tub room, so maybe that was the reason. I know I only justed tipped the guy each morning and no extra charges on bill at check-out.
