I know I sound like a broken record here, but I would like to figure out how to get some answers to this 1:00am closing time dilemma. I have already booked and really feel like I was sold a bill of goods. Is it just me or am I out of line for thinking that an adults only resort of this nature would keep the bars later than say, North Dakota. I guess I'm concerned that the power that be's would even consider it a good ideal to shut down that early. Even the Riu has bars open throughout the night and that's the most boring place I have ever stayed!
Not out of line at all. For the price we are paying I don't feel like being overly critical, but this one is easy. If your concept is an adults-only party place, you may find it tough to attract party crowd if your resort is not actually conducive to partying.
Would hope by April. Most of the bugs will be worked out. Bar should be open to at least 2. 3 preferably.
So, if my memory serves me right, the official "switchover" to the new concept was December 23rd. So what, exactly, has changed? Apart from you now being a speciality restaurant down. Bars not open late, theme nights not advertised, if you knew December was the switch date, surely these things should have been in place then, and not as and when (if) you get round to it. :daisy:
Well they hired Miss 69.. They latest trip advisor reviews are really bad or really good which make me leary and suspicious. How harfd is it to say , , ''ok your working till 3 instead of 1'' ?? I thought the 3AM thing would be a given in Cancun.
