I don't even pay attention to any of that stuff, however, a few weeks ago my childhood best friend tracked me down and came for a visit. We talked for a couple of hours b4 he had to fly back. We shook hands and hugged b4 he left. The meeting took place in Big Bear Lake.

When I got ready to leave, my car was dead (battery)

After getting a jump start I took off and after 60 miles my car overheats and the head gastket blows.

The mechanic in town tows it to his junk yard and we agree to $1400 to fix it.

Rental car breaks down on the way back to Big Bear.

Tow truck driver gets lost for 5 hs.

5 days later I go pick up my car, my mechanic asks for an extra week.

Picked up my car parts scattered on the desert and hired a tow truck to tow it to LV.

Tow truck breaks down 30 miles b4 LV.

Rented a car to go to work the next morning to an empty office (company bellied up and got evicted).

My only union contacts to find me a job changed or disconnected their phones.

Hoping to see my best friend (freaking JINX) to kick his a$$ but I'm affraid to get within 50 miles from him.

Yeah, I believe we can get jinxed.

First off hello all...it's been a while.....

I'm somewhat superstious. Or actually I'd say I'm superstious when it's convienent. I try not to split poles when walking with people, walk under ladders, etc. But if I do accidently do something I won't back track the last block to undo the splitting of a pole or something (I actually once had an aquaintance do this).

I don't know if this is considered superstitous but....when I was young (approx 6-8) my mom told me about a dream involving a bad car wreck in a red car. That night I had a dream about a really bad car wreck in a red car. Since then, when possible I try to avoid them (riding in them). I once had the opprotunity to buy a really good car...but I didn't because it was red (lol). I know it's stupid but...I guess that's just my deal.

    Nope, not superstitious.

Although I do "knock on wood" occasionally.
