Most people pick their home town team and stick with them. But since most people move around the country here in the US, most people have 2 or more teams they follow. Say the one from where they were born and raised and another from where they are living now. Gets real complicated when your home town team is big time rivals with the team where you live now. In that case most folks stick with their home town team. Most people don't have a hometown team so they pick a regional team. Then some pick teams because they like the color of their uniform. True fans stick with their team through thick and thin but a lot are bandwagon fans that jump at the first sign of trouble. What makes it really complicated is that there are so many sports here to follow. In Denver alone you have the NFL Broncos football team, the MLB Rockies baseball team, the NBA Nuggets basketball team, the AFL Crush arena football team, the MLL Outlaws lacrosse team, the NLL Mammoth lacrosse team, the NHL Avalanche hockey team, finally the MSL Rapids soccer team. 8 major league teams in one city. So you have to pick a sport, pick a team and try to keep up. Me, GO REDSKINS and GO ROCKIES!!!!!!!!!!!! Jamie
nope, no hometown team for me, im stuck between boston and new york and I dont root for any local teams, mine are all down south (Orlando, Miami, Atlanta) and then Pittsburgh haha goooooooooo pens!!!
