Are we doing THAT again?? You better believe it. (Virgin Trip Report)

Hi guys,

Just so you don't feel too bad, we did exactly the same thing.
Having arrived and found the USAT rep, we did the decent thing and called
the Cosmos rep over to explain that we didn't need the operators transfers.

The Cosmos rep dutifully noted this on his sheet and we confirmed that this would also be the case for the return journey.

Jump forward 658 rum and cokes, 924 screwdrivers, too much food and a completely awesome Boobs Cruise! and we took our final shower in the spa before sitting down for a last drink for the last hour before our scheduled 5.15 PM pickup.

No sooner sat down and mixed the drinks than a screaming bell boy yelling our name across the Paty'o that our transfer was here, waiting.....quick.....quick!

But it's only just gone 4pm! Our flight's not til 8.pm!!!
Quick check on the email confirmed the time but the driver wasn't having it!
"I have to go, you'll have to get a taxi"

As we were fortunately ready we then grabbed the bags and jumped on not wanting to cough up for another fare unnecessarily.

Driver set off like something out of Mad Max as he'd apparently been waiting since 4.00pm. Now 20 past, he was a man possessed!

Then Val noticed that we had 5 other people on the bus and said that there should be no more than 3 for the $55.00 all in fare.

That's when the penny dropped and she asked the guy in front if this was the Cosmos bus..........Yes!

Shit! That means we now have a load of pickups to do and no last drink either! Gutted!

We felt so bad that the USAT guy would be waiting that we contacted the USAT rep at the airport and asked him to call in and tell them that we got on the wrong bus!

Journey with USAT was great so would definitely use them again.
And definitely not their fault.

I can see how that "taking the wrong ride back" thing can happen after a n initial week at TTR. Very understandable.
