OK , just browsed over 600 posts,, btw thanks to the kids that had a little fight on here it took a lot longer. Before finalization there were 7 negative comments on School girl and 4 pro and 1 question. After list was finalized ( and not really changed in the last month) people (3 or 4) are asking for it.,, too little too late,, not really just wear it, no one will laugh. Its all fun . there were a lot of other choices ( not really considering the group size) that had to be fit in. Cosmo was popular and was left out,,,,ect What really gets me is people that don't post & give their opinion ( thread been going since Sept) and then give their opinion and complain after the list is final . The Thread was abandoned for weeks and no one picked it up, ( the veterans know why, and so did I , but I like a drama ) Bottom line wear what you like,, anything goes , means just that
Absolutely.. as will we. I just thought I had a solution to try to be inclusive and make more people happy. Sorry I said anything. As you were.
I think one of the problems is that this thread was started like 6 months ago , which was likely earlier than most people even started thinking about April's trip. But anyway, we'll be fine with whatever. L's got plenty of short, little dresses to wear.
Donald, to your point we need more involvement to ensure everyone is involved. ... and following the "border skirmish" more involvement took place... lol.... To Eddie's point, this started way early (probably a side effect of the popularity of April and the recurring visits booked so early by a number of people), so themes were settling in about when some people started to take notice. All that said, I think its a good list, and since we have had the same themes the last few years maybe we can see what interest is in both "new" and "classic" themes for future months. There is a shopping time component as well; or so I hear. .. lol Lets all participate and have fun!
Theme night lists are a completely thankless task but thank you for doing this Donald. I think there are some good new themes this year and also some we won't participate in (cowboy/cowgirl for example, not my thing at all). I will certainly miss schoolgirl night but I also understand people who have been numerous times getting sick of it. I bet it surfaces again though as it really had the most participation. Bottom line is dress if you like and if you don't I'm sure there will be enough to look at despite no coherent theme.
Thanks for all your work on this never please everybody but we will all have a great time wearing whatever.
Themes look great! Thanks for working so hard on it Donald!! If your favorite theme isn't there, pick a night and wear it anyway! It's all about the fun and as far as I know there's no theme night gestapo patrolling PatyO's
