April - Bugs????

    im with trish on that one! if you get bit at home youll get bit there. and yes it took two years for my bite marks to fade! bug spray with det! and at patios at night right before it gets dark, no see ums that bite!

    We just got back this past weekend (didn't stay at Temptations had the kids for spring break) and one part of out resort was across the street away from the ocean breeze and you would get ate up at night. They was swarms of them our little girl still has the bumps.

    bugs

    Yes bring the spray. There are noseeums. We just got back , the bugs bite we thought they might be in the grass .

    i just heard the roaches fall from the trees onto you (from someone who just visited)...any truth to that?

    I was there in Sept twice, and recently returned from a mid-May trip. On my first trip in Sept, I was bitten, but I think that is my fault because I was sitting in the grass ofter by the 5000 buildings. Since that incident, I avoid sitting in the grass and I haven't had any problems. Bring the spray and use it if you think you are getting bit, but I wouldn't worry that it is unpleasant to sit around and have bugs bothering you.

    We've taken bug spray with us for each of the last 4 years we visited in April. Never had to use it. We always spend the earlier part of the day on the beach and the rest at the Sexy Pool...then on to Patyo's until 3am or so. Never been bitten. TTR is unbelievably bug free!

    Drink more, bite less

    I haven't experienced a bug or biting problem in my 3 past visits. I don't think they like alcohol-polluted blood :bootyshake:
